Open House at Black Cat Railroad Station on Saturday, March 14, 2015 and everyone is invited to come have fun with the Trains. As we are a non-profit organization (501-C3) there is NO admission fee, however donations are greatly appreciated to help defray costs of operations and repairs to equipment.
Fun for all ages! We have 2 Thomas the Tank layouts for the tykes to operate to their hearts content and for the "Older" generation we have a large HO Model layout, running at least 10 trains at the same time through tunnels, over bridges and trestles, through towns and mine shafts and Stations. We have loosely recreated the Town of North Wilkesboro in the 1950's around the Depot area, which brings a bit of nostalgia to all. We will be open from 10 am. till 2 pm. Check us out at http://www.blackcatstation.com and on Face Book, however, it's more fun in person. We look forward to seeing you all this coming Saturday having a great time enjoying the Trains.
