U.S. Cellular Will Host Free Device Workshop in Wilkesboro to Help
Parents, Students Prepare for Back to School

WILKESBORO, NC (July 13, 2015) � Do you hear that ringing? Alarm clocks and school bells are set to sound as back to school season approaches.

Smartphones and tablets continue to replace notebooks and textbooks as 21st century learning tools. Apps, eBooks, Internet access and online educational videos have enhanced the learning experience. It�s no wonder that 47 percent of children have a cellphone, according to a recent U.S. Cellular survey. That is up from 36 percent in 2013. �

In an effort to help parents and students prepare for going back to school, U.S. Cellular will offer a free Device Workshop on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 5:00 pm at 1809 US Highway 421, Wilkesboro, NC. The workshop is open to everyone, and you don�t have to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend.

Anyone who attends an August workshop will have the opportunity to win an iPad Mini 3. There will be four iPad Mini 3 devices awarded each month across the country.
