There is a greater chance for more environmental damage, loss of property and life by transporting this oil by train or truck than by pipeline. That being said I have a very big problem with a foreign country or foreign owned business being able to take peoples property by eminent domain for anything. If I were in charge I would stop the pipeline for that reason alone. However if it were my property I would agree to a lease to cross my property at .25 cents for every gallon that the line carried and would require that it be double cased or twice the thickness.

When you knowingly vote for someone that says he is going to stop the flow of oil, raise taxes, and keep up anyone that can make it across the border, you are guilty of hurting poor people.
