Mikey, when you say things like "The words of Jesus are Spirit [The Holy Spirit]"� you show your ignorance and are distorting what Jesus said. You are also attempting to deny a simple truth of the Bible. I'll go slow and provide references that you can check for yourself.

Does John 16: 12-15 make sense when we distort it to read "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, MY WORDS, is come MY WORDS will guide you into all truth: For MY WORDS shall not speak of MY WORDS; but whatsoever MY WORDS shall hear, shall MY WORDS speak: and MY WORDS will shew you things to come. MY WORDS shall glorify me; for MY WORDS shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that MY WORDS shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."�? That is simply gibberish. Your interpretation makes no sense. But, let's not stop there.

Consider John 14: 15-17. "If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another MY WORDS that MY WORDS may abide with you for ever; Even MY WORDS; whom the word cannot receive, because it seeth MY WORDS not, neither knoweth MY WORDs: but ye know MY WORDS; for MY WORDS dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."� Jesus wasn't referring to things He had said, he was clearly referring to the Holy Spirit as a real "person."�

In Luke 11:13 Jesus would not have made sense had He said "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children; how much more shall your heavenly Father give MY WORDS to him that ask him?"�

It's not like the Holy Spirit was a "new invention"� that was conjured up after Jesus's crucifixion. The Holy Spirit was active prior to Christ's birth rendering your "interpretation"� even more ic.

Let's look at Genesis 1: 1-2 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the WORDS OF JESUS were hovering over the surface of the waters."�

Does Luke 1:35 make sense when we change it to read "And the angel answered and said unto her [Mary] THE WORDS OF JESUS shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee; therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."� No, it doesn't make sense at all. This verse alone shows that The Holy Spirit IS God, the same as the Father and the Son else, Jesus wouldn't be the "Son of God."�

Amazingly enough it is the Holy Spirit who filled Jesus after His baptism and allowed Jesus to begin His earthly ministry. Consider the lunacy of Luke 3: 21-22 when we change it to fit your assertion that the Holy Spirit is nothing but the words of Christ. "Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying the heaven was opened and JESUS'S WORDS descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said Thou are my beloved Son, in thee I am well pleased."� Were Jesus's words shaped like a dove? Did they fall bodily from out of the sky?

Was it Jesus's words which are mentioned in Luke 4? "And Jesus being full of JESUS'S WORDS returned from Jordan, and was led by JESUS'S WORDS into the wilderness,"� Even you, Mikey, can see that makes no sense.

But, you will answer, in John 6:63 Jesus says "The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life."� Permit me to hypothesize that Jesus was saying that eternal life comes through the Hold Spirit's working in our soul (notice the capital S in Spirit in most modern translations of the Bible) but that His (Jesus's) words are living today and faith in them allow the Holy Spirit to work

I don't claim my hypothesis to be The Epistle of Saint Hideous or even inspired by the Holy Spirit, but given the weight of the evidence, I don't think even you can say that Christ was saying that the "Holy Spirit"� is just a memory of Jesus's words.

Don't you find it intellectually dishonest and a bit deceiving that Jesus called his words "he?" And, if God tells us something is it not always true? If so then why do you assume that the Epistles (which were inspired by God and therefore true) are no longer relevant.

I think Mhjsr really wanted to serve the Lord, and his background was being taught that if you wanted to serve the Lord you had to keep the ten commandments, first mistake, the Lord Jesus is not calling us to serve him, that is to do works to try to earn the Salvation he came to give Fallen mankind ,so Mike went to a Christian Church. It didn't take long for him to see that the Believers didn't live under the OT law, they were saved by Grace through Faith in Christ Atoning death on the Cross. He just could not accept that as serving the Lord, so he begin to listen to other teachers that believed like him, and even had some really unusual thoughts on the Creation and other things in the Bible. As time went on he took in this strange doctrine and began to think that New Testament Believers were all wrong and that Christianity had to be of Satan. He built his defence of his beliefs around Christian Liberty as being Anti-God. He knows he has things all mixed up, but has too much pride to admit his mistake, and continues to fight off anyone who tries to help him.
