There is a TJ Maxx in Boone, haven't seen a Marshall's there. I do love a Ross store. People may actually go to multiple stores to buy up the deals to resell. The Betsey Johnson blankets that Ross carries for like $12 are all over ebay for $30 plus, plus in most cases. That's just one example, I'm sure people probably resell other items also.
I have always wondered why we don't have a Bath and Body Works when Elkin does?

I don't leave in Wilkes, but I bet if you went downtown you'd find one or two. Local economies do better when you support local businesses. Chains have zero loyalty.

Where is a Marshall's in Boone? I go to Boone monthly and have never seen a Marshall's there.

I have wondered about a TJ Maxx too. Marshall's is always busy and I have seen several people buying buggy fulls.

So admittedly I probably need a 12 step program. I love bargain shopping! So just putting this out there....every time I go to Marshall's there are a zillion people shopping. Lots have TN license plates. If we are attracting all these people to Marshall's imagine what we would have if we got a Ross too. Why in the world has Ross not opened a store here? That Marshall's is making some money!!
